Through direct sales representatives and dealer networks strategically located in principal geographic regions, Screen technology benefits commercial printers, packaging printers, trade shops, in-plants and service bureaus in every state in the United States, plus Canada and all of Latin America. Screen provides ongoing service and support and can respond quickly with onsite assistance when necessary.
Digital innovation
Over the years, Screen has steadily added new products, services and capabilities. These include the Trueflow PDF-based workflow management solution, Cézanne desktop flatbed scanners, Katana and Tanto imagesetters, PlateRite series platesetters and Truepress digital printing systems.
Thermal printing plates imaged with Screen computer-to-plate (CTP) systems are used by web and sheetfed offset printers in the production of books, magazines, brochures, catalogs, newspapers and other printed materials.
A variety of software applications and upgrades offering customers greater value and flexibility have been introduced, such as the SPEKTA hybrid AM/FM screening method and CT LW Controller advanced workflow utility.
Contribution to JDF
As a member of the CIP4 (International Cooperation for the Integration of Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress) organization, Screen is dedicated to developing efficient, easy-to-use and open systems. To that end, the company introduced the JDF-based Trueflownet printing environment. Trueflownet brings together a comprehensive network of modular, scalable and open workflow components. Previously independent functions, such as automating, managing, distributing and printing digital files, will become fully integrated, and all scheduling, production and associated costs can be accounted for and tracked for administrative purposes.
