From a web browser on any PC or tablet computer, users can submit digital files into your prepress production workflow, proof layouts and approve final pages prior to digital imaging output. Utilizing the already processed output files from Trueflow SE Flexo-Full Automation, EQUIOS Online ensures that what you see is what you get on press.

EQUIOS Online prevents problems before they occur

Images for approval processing are created automatically from submitted data. The customer can deliver revision instructions and comments entirely online. Progress checks can be applied at any time. Comparisons of the document before and after revisions have been made help identify possible errors.

Tablet computer compatible

Compatibility with tablet devices enhances EQUIOS Online’s convenience for approvers outside the office. Proof data can be checked using a tablet device, such as the Apple iPad®, or downloaded to a local machine as a PDF file and printed.

Wide-Format UV Inkjet Printing System

The Screen Truepress Jet1600UV-F2 wide-format inkjet printing system is the latest addition to our Print-on-Demand (POD) portfolio. This easy-to-use flatbed device’s advanced functionalities provide significant benefits for the packaging, folding carton and corrugated printing market. As a short-run press, the Truepress Jet1600UV-F2 is an affordable solution for printing directly onto a wide variety of substrates when the length of runs makes them too costly to print on traditional presses.

High resolution, variable dots

In addition to offering a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, variable droplets make it possible to reproduce up to seven dot sizes. The Truepress Jet1600UV-F2’s four-color printing results in smooth tints and gradations and sharp reproduction of small text. The Truepress Jet1600UV-F2 prints legible 3-point text even in large-size prints.

Flexible and rigid inks

The Truepress Jet1600UV-F2 uses FlexLED ink for flexible media and HardLED ink for rigid media. The flexible UV ink can be cast, bent and stretched up to 200 percent of its original length. It is ideal for printing on white media. The rigid ink resists friction and chemicals. Inks are hard-dried using UV rays produced by dedicated light emitting diodes (LEDs). The UV-LED light source generates very low heat, enabling imaging of heat-sensitive materials without warping or distortions.

Greater versatility with white ink

Adding white ink ensures high-quality color output regardless of the media, even when transparent, colored or metallic media are used.

New support for clear inks

The Truepress Jet1600UV-F2 also supports the use of clear inks (only available for hard-type inks). The clear inks can be applied to desired points on the sheet to create a spot gloss or spot matte finish.

Post-cure unit now standard

The Truepress Jet1600UV-F2 comes standard with a highproductivity post-cure unit. The unit’s secondary curing light accelerates the hardening of inks, resulting in throughput of up to 254 square feet per hour.

Multi-layer printing

You can take advantage of the special features of UV curing in multi-layered printing to achieve three-dimensionality and emboss effects that utilize the thickness of inks.

Optional roll unit

This option permits continuous printing onto flexible roll-fed media, including paper, PET and PVC.
