Product Overview (Colorgenius DC)

The Colorgenius DC image processing software package maximizes the benefits of using digital cameras in the prepress process. It converts RGB images (imported from any digital camera or selected from commercial image libraries) to CMYK or grayscale images. Colorgenius DC sets the crop, rotation and color tone, density and sharpness parameters prior to conversion. Desired properties for image input type, finished image style and output image color mode can be selected during setup.

During CMYK conversion, Colorgenius DC automatically adjusts the image sharpness to the best quality for printing. Colorgenius DC is available in two packages. Colorgenius DC Smart functions solely as a client module. Colorgenius DC Pro utilizes two client computers and a server. Colorgenius DC Pro includes all the functionality of Colorgenius DC Smart and also supports the use of hot folders. Operators simply drag and drop image files into hot folders for automatic processing.
