The PlateRite FX1524 can image the black mask layer of resin plates directly, eliminating the need for film and other intermediate processing. Misalignment of the film, registration errors, image unevenness, dust, UV scattering and other common problems associated with film-based workflows are a thing of the past.

Screen's proven, high-powered multi-channel laser diodes enable sharp imaging. The reliable light source has a long life and is inexpensive to operate.

Leading edge and trailing edge clamps save prepress operators time and trouble when using 42" x 60" plates. The optimal plate-loading procedure can be selected depending on the plate size. For instance, the button-operated loading mechanism ensures fast and efficient plate loading. Operators also can choose to load plates manually.

The PlateRite FX1524 accommodates a number of screening methods for consistently exceptional results. These include standard AM screening, Screen's Flexo Dot Hi-Res Hybrid Screening and Spekta 2 hybrid screening. A Multi-Screening module that employs a different type of screening for each object being printed is available.
