The two models in the PlateRite 8300 series are attractive choices for print shops that operate presses with formats in the 2-page to 8-page range, whether the presses are web or sheetfed offset. These state-of-the-art thermal CTP recorders incorporate all the features that have won the PlateRite series its reputation for precision and productivity. They also offer the benefits of easy daylight operation.

The economical PlateRite 8300E utilizes a 16-channel light source capable of imaging resolutions of 2,400 dpi, 2,438 dpi and 2,540 dpi. At 2,400 dpi, the PlateRite 8300E images 8 plates per hour. The PlateRite 8300S has a high-speed rotating drum and a 32-channel imaging head that supports 1,200 dpi to 4,000 dpi resolutions. The PlateRite 8300S produces 13 plates per hour at 2,400 dpi.
