PlateRite 8300N Series

The PlateRite 8300N is a versatile addition to Screen’s best-selling CTP portfolio, delivering superior imaging quality and reliable operation based on customer-proven technology. The two models in the PlateRite 8300N series are attractive and affordable choices for smaller print shops that operate presses with formats in the 2-page to 8-page range, whether the presses are web or sheetfed offset. These entry-level thermal CTP recorders incorporate all the features that have won the PlateRite series its reputation for precision and productivity. They also offer the benefits of easy daylight operation.

Both models feature a minimum plate size of 12" x 14.6" and a maximum plate size of 45.6" x 37" for greater operability and flexibility. The economical PlateRite 8300N-E utilizes a 16-channel light source capable of imaging resolutions of 2,400 dpi, 2,438 dpi and 2,540 dpi. At 2,400 dpi, the PlateRite 8300N-E images 8 plates per hour. The PlateRite 8300N-S has a high-speed rotating drum and a 32-channel imaging head. The platesetter supports 1,200 dpi to 4,000 dpi resolutions. The PlateRite 8300N-S produces 14 plates per hour at 2,400 dpi.
