Product Overview (PlateRite FX870)

Label and flexible packaging printers increasingly utilize flexographic presses to manufacture their products. The PlateRite FX870 will help improve production for the package printing industry. The first of a family of flexo engines from Screen, this high-performance CTP system enables efficient and precise printing of labels, flexible packaging, corrugated, carton and security printing.

The PlateRite FX870 utilizes a 32-channel laser diode head to image advanced digital flexo plates and letterpress plates from 7.9" x 7.9" to 34.2" x 28.9". It features 2,400 dpi and 2,540 dpi imaging resolutions. Standout features include enhanced reproducibility of highlighted areas.
