Hybrid Screening
Spekta 2 controls the size, number and placement of AM-like dots and FM-like dots as required for each density range with randomized, optimized white space for clean, crisp image detail.

12-Bit Halftoning Technology
Spekta 2 is the only hybrid screening method that is built on 12-bit halftoning technology. It provides higher levels (4,096) of tint to tone of color than 8-bit (256) depth dots, delivering smoother renditions of gradations and color transitions.

Totally Free of Moiré
The placement of dots is always randomly calculated with Spekta 2; there are no screen angles to contend with. Spekta 2 avoids the moiré resulting from interference patterns between screen angles and lace cloth, stereo speaker mesh or CRT screenshots. It also eliminates rosette moiré.

Bringing Life to Midtones
Spekta 2 does a better job of bringing out detail in the midtones and tones commonly seen in flesh tones and other areas where vibrant color is required.
